Position: Manager, Corporate
Reporting to: Head of Business

Job Summary

The Manager, Corporate will lead in the development, implementation and management of the Bank’s corporate business activities and clientèle to achieve the Bank’s overall corporate objectives and business targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop policies and procedures aimed at ensuring effective corporate banking operations, customer satisfaction and retention, communicate them to all parties and monitor to ensure compliance.

2. Assist in developing corporate business strategic plans in line with the Bank’s overall objectives for approval and ensure effective implementation of the same.

3. Lead the development and selling of the Bank’s corporate products to potential and existing customers in order to grow the Bank’s liability portfolio and revenues.

4. Ensure good growth and maintenance of a healthy financing book.

5. Support the relationship management team and the Branch managers in managing their clients.

6. Set performance standards, targets and action plans for the departmental staff and monitor performance to ensure attainment of the departmental objectives.

7. Participate in the recruitment, training and management of departmental staff

8. Promoting the banks’ image in the market place.

Requirements

• Business related degree in Banking /Finance or any other relevant field.

• MBA will be an added advantage

• Diploma in Banking (AKIB qualification)

• Diploma in Business Administration/Management/Public Relations/Marketing or other relevant area.

• Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in banking, 3 of which should have been in relationship management capacity within corporate department.

• Sound Credit management experience.

• Strong analytical and negotiating skills.

• Senior management training courses
