Marketing Manager
Position: Marketing Manager
Reporting to: Head of Business
Job Summary
The Marketing Manager will lead in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to meet the company’s overall objectives, including management of marketing, advertising and promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, implement and facilitate marketing plans and strategies for the company, in line with the overall plans of the Bank.
2. Plan and administer the company’s marketing budget; delivering marketing activity within agreed budget.
3. Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.
4. Oversee market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
5. Oversee customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
6. Oversee the development and roll out of new products that are relevant to customers needs.
7. Liaison with media and advertising agencies, promoting the banks’ image in the market place.
8. Participate in the recruitment, training and management of departmental staff.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
• MBA will be an added advantage
• Diploma in Marketing
• Diploma in Islamic banking, will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 8 years marketing experience, 3 of which should have been in a senior management capacity
• Understanding of banking services management and policies.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, negotiating and leadership skills
• Speak clearly, persuasively and demonstrates group listening and presentation skills
