Director of Facilities and Transport

DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES & TRANSPORT TANZANIA
- Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Facilities and Transport is responsible for security, transport (including vehicle fleet and a drivers’ corps), exterior and interior building maintenance and repair, renovation and alteration, engineering, and overall physical plant operations of large office and other facilities in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.
The Director may also be called upon to assist with supervision and/or monitoring of health clinic renovations and operations of Harvard PEPFAR clinical subcontractors in Tanzania.
QUALIFICATIONS Position requires ten or more years of building maintenance and/or construction experience, and working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Knowledge of building codes, permits, and applicable regulations required. Staff supervisory experience is required, as the Director will supervise significant number of staff.
