Security and Facility Manager.

We are looking for a talented individual to join our firm in the role of Security and Facility Manager.

You will be required to carry out the following:
Annual threat and vulnerability assessments of the facility to identify threats to staff and assets.
Establish and monitor compliance to access policies and procedures.
Maintain relationships with high level law enforcement such as government security agencies, intelligence and private sector counterparts.
Oversee the scheduling, maintenance and monitoring of all air conditioning, water, electric and other systems to ensure efficient operation, including inspection of the facility
Manage facilities staff, assigned contractors and vendors to deliver expected service levels within the prescribed budget.
Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services and labour for maintenance and related projects.
Ensure that all the firefighting and related equipment is in functional state all the time and that facility/business licenses are valid.
Prepare and ensure adherence to budgets.
To qualify for the Manager role, you must have the following skills and attributes:
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Successful track record over a minimum period of 10 years in leading and establishing security efforts for large, global corporate or professional service industry environments.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
University Degree in law, political science, business administration, accounting & finance, security management, criminal justice, or related.
Certifications and expertise in security related disciplines.
Military background at officer level with a tenure of no less than 5 years.

Requirements : A minimum of five years of experience in business or government managing facilities or maintenance and repair of facilities. Previous experience will include experience that demonstrates a high level of integrity and responsibility for management of high value property.

Job Description : Serves as the primary point of contact for contractors performing renovation and construction projects at CDC facilities, including reconfiguring offices through drywall partitions and refitting utility connections, construction of buildings to house additional offices to accommodate the changing requirements of CDC Tanzania, parking lot and access road paving projects, security upgrades, and changing entrance and exit portals within facilities.
