Chief Operating Officer
We seek a qualified individual of mature judgment and international background to oversee and supervise administrative and financial aspects of activities for 300 staff members, including physicians, nurses, counselors, data management and statistics staff, study coordinators, and administrative and support staff.
This position will oversee and supervise the financial and administrative duties of the licensed health professionals affiliated with the projects, while the CEO and the Principle Investigators will oversee and supervise the professional activities of the projects’ licensed professionals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree in a health or related field, at least five (5) years of advanced managerial experience in a health/academic setting, international experience (preferably in Africa), and strong knowledge of U.S. funded research requirements, clinical trials standards, and regulations.
Excellent leadership skills, communication skills, negotiation and consensus building skills betweens groups and institutions must be demonstrated.
Candidate must live in Dar-es-Salaam or be willing to relocate for a 3 year period.
