Overview

The Director is the manager (CEO) of the centre, reporting to the managing committee, whose job is to preserve Starehe’s unique culture and traditions while sustaining superior academic performance and continue an innovative process of securing Starehe’s financial futurePosition requirements
Have a deep passion for caring for and giving education to disadvantaged, but talented boys.
Ideally, a masters or higher degree plus proven experience in education and youth development
Perceptible charisma and energy to inspire the confidence of a diverse hierarchy of Starehe’s donors and other stakeholders.
Part of a well developed international network with reputable youth development and education institutions to facilitate exchange of ideas and programmes
Proven planning skills, essential for change management and formulation of strategy and budgets.
Mature leader, alert to essential detail and capable of identifying, leading and motivating a higher calibre team.
Person of impeccable moral, professional and fiduciary integrity.
Remuneration
Remuneration package is commensurate with the challenges of this position and the experience of the individual.
