We are seeking a Regional Director, to continue to develop our programmes inKenya and elsewhere in East Africa, and to explore new opportunities.
Based inNairobi, you will report to the International Director in the UK and will be amember of Practical Action's international management team, sharing
responsibility for developing our international strategies and policies.
An exceptional job, and to fill it we are looking for an exceptional individual.
Candidates should hold a post-graduate degree in any relevant technology, socialscience or information discipline and must have at least ten years' relevant workexperience and management in a similar environment, preferably some of whichshould be in the region.
You will need to have a track record in leading highly motivated, creative anddiverse multidisciplinary teams and proven sound financial managementexperience.
You will also need to demonstrate a broad knowledge of regional andinternational development issues and advocacy.
A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidateinitially for a 3-year period.
This is renewable at the end of each term based onperformance.
