DanChurchAid (DCA) is a faith based Danish NGO which primarily supports partner implemented relief and development programmes in different parts of the world. DCA’s Juba based Regional Office supports activities in the Sudanese States of Jonglei, South Kordofan and Blue Nile, as well as those in Kenya. This office is looking for a Sudanese woman or man to join its small but dynamic team as driver/logistician as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
· Official driver of DCA vehicle
· Transport of DCA staff, visitors and equipment
· Maintenance of DCA vehicles and other property
· Under direction of DCA Chief Logistician and/or Administrator, ensure all local logistics are met (eg. airport pickups, hotel and flight bookings, delivery and processing of documents, purchases and negotiations at local level)
· Ensure security updates are communicated to DCA staff under guidance of DCA Chief Logistician and/or Administrator
· Translation/communication in Juba Arabic or other local dialect when needed
· Undertake any other supportive tasks which may be required by the said office

Qualifications
· Unblemished valid Sudanese driver license
· Minimum 3 years driving experience, preferably with I/NGO in Juba
· Basic proven knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance
· Written and oral English and Arabic (Juba) and good communication skills
· Familiarity with geography of Juba Town
· Previous experience in logistics and use of a procurement manual is an advantage
· Preferred personal qualities include strong team spirit, cheerful and helpful disposition, hard working, flexible with working hours, and professional presentation.
