Reporting to the Deputy Company Secretary, the Shares Registrar will be responsible for

Carrying out transfer/transmission and issuing new certificates to the shareholders as per approved policies and procedures.
Conducting regular updates of shareholders registers.
Carrying out immobilization of share certificates and issuing jumbo certificates.
Replacing lost/misplaced share certificates as per the laid down procedures.
Facilitating payment of dividends once declared by the Board and approved by the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting.
Carrying out dividends accounts reconciliations as per approved policies and procedures as per the laid down procedures.
Replacing lost/misplaced dividend cheques.
Sending annual reports and accounts to all company shareholders as notice of the Annual General Meeting and participating in preparing documents for the AGM.
Filing relevant information/returns with relevant bodies/institutions as required by law.
Dispatch of investors returns to the Nairobi Stock Exchange, Capital Markets Authority and Central Depository & Settlement Corporation as per laid down procedures.
Preparing timely and accurate reports in regard to shares procedures.
Ensuring that the required resources are available i.e. printing of dividend warrants, certificates and stationery.
Supervising, appraising staff and identifying their development and training needs.
Performing any other duties as may be assigned.
Appointment Requirements/Qualifications
Applications should be in possession of the following:

Bachelor’s degree in Business related Field or Law or a Certified Public Secretary (CPS).
At least five (5) years relevant work experience in Shares Registration Services.
IT user skills.
A high degree of initiative, analytical thinking, attention to detail and self driven.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Assertive and team player.
