Quality Analyst Job Vacancy in Kenya

A leading food processing company seeks to recruit a self-motivated, energetic and qualified individual for the above post.

Key Responsibilities.

Implementing systems throughout the entire process to assure quality output which will involve:

Monitoring quality standards of raw materials and finished products.
Ensuring compliance of processes to the approved standards.
Laboratory analysis of samples of finished products and raw materials on daily basis and keeping proper records on the results for processes audit.
Evaluating the test results and giving recommendations based on the deviations from the expected results.
Observing and complying with food safety, environmental, health and safety regulations.
Maintaining of the laboratory equipment and advising on continuous upgrading to keep up with the changing technology to obtain better results.
Preparation of reports on key product performance and recommendations on quality checks in production.
Qualification and skills:

BSc. in Food Technology, a background in Chemistry training is an added advantage.
A minimum of 3 years experience in food processing industry working in a laboratory.
Excellent skills in report writing, analytical and communication.
