Deputy Vice Chancellor Finance, Administration and Planning
Reporting to: Vice Chancellor
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the administration, finance, planning and development functions of the university.
Give oversight to the preparation, monitoring and execution of the annual budget to ensure control, prudence and accuracy.
Coordinate the procurement, retention development and exit of human capital and other human resource related activities;
Develop and oversee all policy issue related to the function.
Identify, initiate, plan and monitor implementation of projects that contribute to achieving of the development agenda of the university.
Coordinate the planning and development of the university's properties.
Professional qualifications, competencies and experience:
A PhD in a related field.
A Masters Degree in Business Administration (Finance option) will be an added advantage.
At least 15 years experience in a related field, 5 of which should have been at senior management levels.
Demonstrated abilities in capital project planning and management.
At least 40 years of age.
Academic Dean
Reporting: Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic Affairs
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Deputy Vice Chancellor in overseeing the implementation of the educational philosophy and academic policies of the university.
Work with other departments in recruitment of teaching faculty members and coordinate the implementation of academic programmes.
Give oversight to the on-going curriculum review and work with the Deputy Vice Chancellor, to establish policies, design and implement ongoing faculty development.
Professional qualifications, competencies and experience:
A PhD degree in education or any other related field.
A minimum of five years relevant experience particularly in curriculum development.
Age 35 years and above.
Fund Development Coordinator
Reporting: Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, Finance Planning and Development
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate resource mobilization efforts
Initiate creative development activities and programs in line with the University's strategic plan and budget.
Increase funds through researching and tainting of charitable trusts sympathetic to Christian Leadership development.
Raise awareness of the organization's activities at local, national and international level.
Write and follow up proposals to funding agencies including; church groups to attract funding for the School's projects and programmes.
Manage the donor database and work in liaison with the ICT Department on data.
Prepare periodic progress reports on resource utilization against plans of Divisions and Departments.
Professional qualifications, competencies and experience:
A Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA), Economics or any other related field.
A minimum of five years relevant experience, preferably gained in a university setting.
Proven abilities in local and international fundraising, networking, project planning and development.
Age 35 years and above.
