Total salary package: R192 540 per annum (all-inclusive remuneration package)

Requirements:

* Applicants must be in possession of an appropriate Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification and/or relevant experience in Records Management within the Public Service
* A completed Records Management course, as provided by the National Archives, is preferred.

* Knowledge of registry work
* Computer literacy
* Planning and organising skills
* Problem-solving skills
* The ability to work independently
* Good communication skills
* Analytical thinking
* Client orientation/customer focus


Duties:

* Manage filing/archiving at the Service Centre
* Manage staff within the Division
* Client services
* Manage equipment and the inventory at the Service Centre
* Manage documents coming in and going out of the Service Centre
* Ensure that security of information and regulations are complied with, in accordance with MISS
* Control databases on the movement of personnel
* Compile a budget for the Service Centre
* Work closely with the National Archives.
